Thirty of the 50 states in the United States require passenger vehicles to display two license plates, one in the front and one on the rear. The remaining 20 states solely require a single plate, usually on the rear of the vehicle. Because of the varying laws, all new vehicles include a front license plate bracket and holes or indentions to make set up easy. In addition to state-required plates, many drivers set up a front license plate bracket to display a custom plate.

Buick Rainier Front License Plate Bracket Installation Instructions

1. Examine your entrance bumper cover carefully to seek out the 2 small indentions within the center. Each Rainier has these indentions for entrance license plate brackets.
2. Open your package and make sure you aren’t lacking any hardware. Together with the bracket, the bundle should embody two mounting screws with nuts.
3. Position the license plate bracket over the entrance bumper; line up the holes on the bracket with the indentions on the bumper.
4. Install the screws with a standard screwdriver. Because the indentions are particularly for the license plate bracket, no drill is required. The screws will easily penetrate the indentions.
5. Reach underneath and connect the nut to complete the installation. Mount your license plate onto the bracket.
